Check out the latest news from Jim and the 59 team

Jim and the 59 team are continuing to work hard.  This past weekend Jim brought home two top 15 finishes.  On Friday night at Williams Grove Speedway Jim started 6th in his heat race and missed the qualifying position by one spot.  This put him in the 2nd starting position for the consolation event.  Jim finished 2nd in the B-main and started 20th in the A-main.  He raced hard and worked his way through the field to finish 12th.

On Saturday at Lincoln Speedway for the 10th annual Kevin Gobrecht Memorial race, Jim timed in 16th quick.  This put him in the 2nd starting position for his heat race.  Jim finished 2nd in the heat, which put him in the 15th starting position for the main event.  He was on the move, working his way toward a top 5 finish, but was stopped short when another competitor pushed him to the wall.  Jim ultimately passed 9 cars and finished 7th.

The team is proud of their finishes and is looking forward to competing at Williams Grove Speedway on Friday as part of the Central PA Speedweek events.  Plans are up in the air for any other racing action this week.
